About Willow Walks
In the summer of 2025 Willow Walks was unleashed for walkies!
Willow Walks was conceived through the personal experience we had with our dog Willow, and is founded in the knowledge that walks are not just about exercise, they must also provide stimulating and enriching experiences that supports the socialisation, well-being and physical health of your dog.
Hello, my name is Debs, and I have turned my love of dogs and learned experiences into a career that is committed to now helping other dog owners provide walks that promote your dog’s mental and physical health, when you can’t.

For much of my younger years, I was fortunate to have been raised on a small holding surrounded by a wonderful array of pets. The more usual included dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, budgies and goldfish, whilst the less usual consisted of horses, ponies, goats, chickens, geese, a duck, a pig and the occasional fox cubs, all of which I would keenly take on the responsibility of caring for.
It seemed a given that I would work with animals, but as we know life likes to throw in curve balls, and after years of deliberation I began a very happy career as an early years teacher.
My love of animals has never wavered, with our family never being without at least one dog. Then came Willow, and all of the experiences that planted the seed that is now Willow Walks. I have returned to my roots and I’m loving it!
Why Willow Walks?
This may be the first time you have met Willow or you may have met her on our many walks around the Wirral Peninsula. As many beloved pets, Willow began life as a rescue dog. Having been strayed several times, we eventually met her at 16 months old in a Warrington dogs home (serendipity definitely played a part) and became her fifth and thankfully final family.
From the moment she came home ‘loyal’ is the best word to describe her, alongside loving, playful and protective. We never knew what life experiences she had had before, but we knew she needed lots of support to help her trust new people.
The joy and many tears I experienced to help her along her journey meant that our bond was something special. She was that dog that changes you, that provides experiences you never expected to have, and that taught me so much. One of the most important lessons was that every dog needs appropriate exercise, stimulation, enrichment and socialisation. For Willow, walking in a pack with an amazing dog walker and surrounded by nature was a massive part of her becoming a well balanced pup - well most of the time!
She is my inspiration and was my doggy mentor, it is only fitting that her name leads me on my next journey.
